October 2006 Into the Bush

Journal of Ministry:

We spent the months of  June, July and two weeks of August at the Pemba Iris Missions base in remote and northern Mozambique. We had the wonderful privilege of being Pastors to the approximately 130 mission's students attending the School of Missions there. We were overwhelmed again with the Holy Spirit as He ministered, equipped and brought these students into such deep intimacy with our God. They came hungry, desperate and longing for more of Him. Sessions were often drenched with manifestations of His Presence with students receiving visions, prophetic revelations, inner healing and restoration. They were given impartations and equipped for ministry. Students came from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, New Zealand and Australia. They will return to their places of ministry with a deeper level of glory on their lives. Our role was to pray for and mentor these students. We did this in the corporate meetings and by meeting with many individually. LaQueta had many productive appointments with students to mentor them in the prophetic.

Keith went on four week-end outreaches into some quite remote villages. We will show some of the photos on our website of these activities. Rachel also went on a week-end outreach along with her assigned team. It is always a profound experience to show the Jesus Film followed by an invitation for salvation and see hundreds of people come forward to put their trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Iris Ministries has been used to establish more than 6,000 churches in this simple but effective way. Thank you for your part in making this possible.

On our way back to South Africa we spent the last two weeks of August encouraging missionaries at children's centers in Beira, Dondo and ministering in a provincial church in Chimeio, Mozambique.

We encountered some challenges during these months including sickness. We thank the Lord for bringing us through these. We also were without a laptop for the three months and so had limited internet access. This hindered us from reporting and updating the website. We are thankful for His help as we walked through these trials with His grace.

We are making preliminary plans to minister in central Brazil during the month of November. We will be speaking at a Pastor's Conference there and in some of the churches. May He be glorified.

Thank you so much for your continuing prayers and gifts to this ministy.
Much Love;
Keith and LaQueta Paul
