We Believe

Restoration Place Ministries

This is what we believe as a Christian Business venture:

ARTICLE 5 : Market Place Statement of Faith

This Christian Business adheres to these Tenets of Faith as following:

Section 1 : One True God

God has revealed Himself as the Creator of all things and the Redeemer of mankind. He is manifested as the Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 43:11; and Matthew 28:19)

Section 2 : Scriptures Inspired

The Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God. In them we find the final authority for all Christian faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

Section 3 : Deity of Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who shares in the deity of God. He is man who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for sin and arose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and is now at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate. (Matthew 1:23).

Section 4 : Original Sin and fall of Man

Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost (Genesis 1-3). Only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and by His resurrection can man have grounds for justification and salvation. This salvation and spiritual life are obtained by regeneration through the work of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 3:23-26).

Section 5 : Salvation by Faith

Man's salvation and redemption (a free gift of grace from God) can only be obtained by exercising faith, not by works, and by the finished redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Salvation is to bring the believer into restoration evidenced by the abundant life that Jesus promises. (John 10:10)

Section 6 : The New Man in Christ

If any person be in Christ, he is a new creature (creation) in the inward man. We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus. We are partakers of His divine nature. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:10; and 2 Peter 1:4).

Section 7 : Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The ministry of the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ as He indwells, guides, and empowers every believer for life and service. Walking in the Holy Spirit is a mutual relationship evidenced by His manifested Attributes through the believer.(Romans 8:14, Galatians 5:22)
Baptism into the Holy Spirit brings the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit and their uses to the forefront, in the life of the believer and into the ministry of the body of Christ.  This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth and is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance. (Acts 2:1-4)

Section 8 : Divine Healing

The atoning work of Jesus Christ provides salvation and healing for all believers. (Matthew 8:16 & 17).

Section 9 : Church - The Body of Christ

The true Church is the composition of all those who have been born again. Through the new birth, believers are united together as the Body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Lord and head of the Church. (Ephesians 1:22 & 23).

Section 10 : Water Baptism

All who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior and have been born again are commanded to be immersed in water. This declares that they identify with the death of Christ and have been raised with Him in newness of life. (Mark 16:16, Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-5) All candidates shall be baptized using the Trinitarian form.

Section 11 : Lord's Supper

The Lord's Supper, or Communion, is a symbolic expression of sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, as well as a memorial of his suffering death, and prophecies of His Second Coming. (1 Corinthians 11:23-31, Luke 22:19,20)

Section 12 : The Blessed Hope

The blessed hope of the Church is the Second Coming of Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ will come again to translate (catch away to heaven) His church. Those who have died and are waiting for His return will precede those who are alive and waiting for His coming. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Romans 11:27; Titus 2:13).

Section 13: The Final Judgment

There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Those names not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire which is the second death. (Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:4348; Revelation 19:20; 20:11-15; 21:8)

ARTICLE 6: PRACTICES

Section 1
: Christian Marriage

This is the joining together in holy matrimony of a man and woman that have been born again through Jesus Christ and who declare His Lordship over their lives and marriage. (John 3:3-8; Romans 10:9, 10; Colossians 1:15-18)

Section 2
: Christian Funeral

This ministry involves funeral and memorial services presenting the truth of Jesus Christ and the gift of salvation and eternal life through Him. It is a time to minister the comfort and love of God, as well as the blessed hope in Jesus Christ our Lord (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; 5:9-10; 1 John 4:7-I1) to the surviving family and friends.

Section 3
: Prayer for the Sick

This ministry believes that Jesus Christ was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needful to obtain peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him, we are healed and made whole (Isaiah 53:5). And the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven (James 5:14- 16; Mark 16:18b).
